Senan Foley is a member of Mountaineering Ireland and the Glanbia Hillwalking Club. On Christmas day 2011, he posed for this image on the summit of Mount Vinson, Antarctica’s highest peak at 4,897 meters (16,066 feet). Although it’s technically summer in the Southern hemisphere, he reported a crisp -58 degrees Fahrenheit that day on the mountain. We salute Senan’s True Strength for achieving a feat that only about 1,500 climbers have managed to date.
