The three titles you see above are pretty recent additions to my resume, but I have been an athlete my whole life. It started with Pop Warner football & Little League baseball. Next was high school football and swimming. After that, swimming at the college level. Throughout my sports career, more-so in late high school and college, I realized strength training was going to make me a stronger athlete in any sport I decided to play. Since then I have not put down the weights or given up my passion for strength training.
Today I compete as an amateur natural bodybuilder and run the only official TRX Training Center in San Francisco, CA. One is a hobby while the other a career, yet both require the discipline to keep my body in peak physical condition. Both play an important role on the decisions I make on a daily basis, but the most important decision I have to make is about my nutrition. I take my strength training and nutrition/supplementation very seriously today. I enjoy talking to people who have questions about training and nutrition because this is my life today.
You can find me at one of two places; hitting the weights at one of the local gyms or hanging from my TRX Suspension Trainer where ever I can find an anchor point.
I could not imagine a lifestyle that is more rewarding. I am surrounded by fitness everywhere I turn - My ON teammates, the folks at the gym every morning, my TRX co-workers and members, and at home with my awesome wife. I could list the benefits of fitness for days, but ultimately I wake up with a smile on my face because of what fitness has done for me. Today its my goal to be the best at whatever sport or hobby choose, but also share my knowledge with others to help them achieve their goals (fitness oriented or not)! That is True Strength to me.
