Bio
I grew up in beautiful Vancouver, BC Canada. My passion for nutrition started at a very young age. At 8 years old I started experimenting with different diets. I was a vegetarian for 15 years and a vegan for 2 years. I started going to the gym in high school and continued weight training into my twenties. I attended University but was unsure of what career path to pursue. I decided to spend my time traveling the globe instead. I have traveled extensively through Europe, Asia, Australia/New Zealand and South/Central America.

I spent 4 years living overseas in Australia before returning home to Vancouver in 2012. This was the same time I decided that I wanted to take my fitness hobby to the another level. I hired myself a trainer and decided to compete in the bikini division. Having no expectations, I was very happy to have placed 2nd in my first show. This qualified me for BC Championships, where I placed 3rd. A few short weeks later I was onto the National stage. I placed 4th at National level, which was a great achievement for me.

I am now preparing for Canadian Nationals once again. I love competing because it truly is a sport where you are your own competition. There is no limit to how much one can improve their physique. My health is my first and foremost priority, and supplementing with Optimum Nutrition helps me perform my absolute best. I have a holistic view on nutrition and I am always striving to learn more about fitness and nutrition.

Apart from training, I love cooking and making healthy versions of my favorite foods. Check out my instagram for recipes. I often use protein powders in my desserts to satisfy my HUGE sweet tooth. Nutrition and health are big parts of my life. I am hoping to study dietetics and work with competitive athletes one day.
