Nationally Qualified Bikini Competitor (CBBF)
Bio
I grew up in beautiful Vancouver, BC Canada. My passion for nutrition started at a very young age. At 8 years old I started experimenting with different diets. I was a vegetarian for 15 years and a vegan for 2 years. I began weight training at the age of 17 but in all honesty I did not have any idea what I was doing. I continued weight lifting throughout my early twenties.

I traveled extensively through Europe, Asia, Australia/New Zealand and South/Central America all the while fitness and nutrition remained an interest of mine. I remember bringing a tub of ON Gold Standard Whey around South America with me and performing high intensity body weight circuits outdoors in various cities.

I spent 4 years living abraod in Australia before returning home to Vancouver in 2012. This was the time I decided that I wanted to take my fitness hobby to the next level. I hired a trainer and decided to compete in the Bikini Division. Having no expectations, I was very pleased to have placed 2nd in my first show. This qualified me for BC Championships, where I placed 3rd. A few short weeks later I was onto the National stage. I placed 4th at National level, which was a great achievement for me. Along the way I have learned an incredible amount about my body. My philosophy is that no two are alike, therefore my best results have come through trial and error.

In 2014 I competed at Nationals once again. I was able to take home the win this time around. I am very happy with the results I have seen since I started using ON products regularly. I love competing because it is truly a sport where you are your own competition. There is no limit to how much we can improve our physiques. My health is my first and foremost priority, and supplementing with Optimum Nutrition helps me perform my absolute best. I am always striving to learn more about my body and what supplements, foods and training regimes work best for me. The field of Sports Nutrition is forever changing, and I genuinely enjoy keeping up to date with all the latest research and studies.

Apart from training, I love cooking and making healthy versions of my favorite foods. Check out my Instagram for recipes! I often use protein powders in my desserts to satisfy my HUGE sweet tooth. Nutrition and health are both big parts of my life. I am currently studying Chinese Medicine. It is something that I am truly passionate about as it is a holistic practice that views and treats us as individuals.

In the next 5 years I plan to continue competing. My goal is to earn my IFBB Pro Card and consistently inspire and motivate people to make healthy a priority.
